This book is a collection of short stories put together to inspire laughter. The topics in this book range from Jesus to Lenny Bruce. In one chapter you will be reading about Martha Stewart's ideas on how to organize your "vagina", and the next thing you know, you're reading about the death of the speeking Taco Bell chihuahua. Dispite the hilarities of this book, I found some chapters quite sobering. This book is unlike any book I have ever read.

My favorite character out of all the stories is Princess Diana of Wales. In her letters to Mother Teresa she talks as if Mother Teresa is one of best friends. She is a very crude character. For instance she writes down this incredably lewd joke in one of her letters. Most people would find this joke inapropriate and stupid, but the fact that she wrote it to a Christian Saint made it bloody hilarious! I found this particular story especially enjoyable.

I think Jon Stewart would like us to catch on to the fact that we all make mistakes, and the most enjoyable thing you can do is laugh about them. The story I found least funny ( mind you it was still plenty funny ) was "The Cult". It asked and answered the question of what it would be like to be a cult leader. It seemed irrelevant to the over all theme and had absolutly no connection to reality. My favorite story was, The Devil and William Gates. This story covers a myth that people have made up about Bill Gates. The story fit the theme impeccably. This proves my theory that the stories people come up with when they're desperate make up for the best laughs later on. It is a perfect example of making fun of humanity.

I would definitly recommend this book to everyone who can get their hands on it. This book is best suited for ages 14 and up due to sexual referances, drug references, and swearing. This is a must read, 9 out of 10 stars.
